Feedstock
“Clean” C&D Debris – Includes road & land clearing debris, industry waste (palates, sawdust, paper waste, etc), felled storm debris, urban biomass wastes - excludes painted and CCA treated wood
Forest Wood Waste – supports proper forest management, is easily processed, and has good BTU value
Rice Hulls & Bagasse – an excellent fuel source and beneficial alternative to burning
Energy Crops – such as switch grass and Arundo Donax - can be grown providing a stable fuel source. No food crops are ever used as a source of fuel. Growth of such crops provides new industry opportunities for rural communities.
Chicken Litter and Agricultural Wastes offer:
- High output feedstock
- Ash becomes usable fertilizer
- Removes land spread issues
Processed Municipal Household Waste:
- Unlimited supply
- Makes virtually every city a potential market
- When processed is a storable deodorized fluff
- Tipping fees for disposal in many cases are high enough to cover most of processing costs, providing the project with near "$0" cost fuel
